Our Sabbath at the UW Arboretum was a huge success.
The day couldn’t have been more pleasant …
The weather was warm and comfortable after a week of rain…
Bible Study on the ministry and life of Peter was led by Denis Casper – as always, not just informative and interactive, but Denis liberally sprinkles his studies with nuggets of information that keep everyone fascinated. NO one falls asleep in his class!
The Worship Service of Praise was presented by Lowell Dunston, Principal of Cypress Adventist School (see links) and Roxanne Wright , a teacher at the school; music ably provided by Roald Chetty and Katie Steenberg.
Food was ample and tasty…
Visitors from New York City, Salem Oregon and Vancouver Washington shared the day with us…
Several people canoed in the afternoon and only one couple capsized… Natalie and her mother took a quick dip in the lake!
From set-up to break down, from packing the truck to putting everything back in it’s place, the day went smoothly. Special thanks to those who helped carry chairs, tables and supplies in and out!
Best of all… it was a day of Worship in the lovely setting of the garden.
